She then went on to complete a board accredited residency program at The Jackson Clinics and became a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics.
Her residency program specialized in orthopedic manual therapy with special interest in treating pelvic and foot and ankle dysfunction.
The program emphasized the importance of looking at the body holistically and highlighted when and how foot dysfunction can affect the pelvis and lumbar spine.
Julia has 150+ hours of advanced pelvic floor training through the Herman and Wallace Institute to improve bowel, bladder, and sexual health.
During each evaluation and treatment, she clears orthopedic considerations including the low back, sacrum, SI joint, and hip.

To retain gains between session, self-sufficiency through patient education is required.
To empower patients, Julia listens to the client's goals and retrains the movement they seek to return to.
To return to full function, therapeutic exercises involve full body movements under heavy loaded resistance training.
Julia has additional specialty training for:
-pregnancy -post partum care -sexual dysfunction -vulvar/vaginal pain disorders
Julia has 500 hours of training through the Body Arts and Science International Certification program. She teaches mat classes and classes with equipment.

Therapeutic Pilates helps bridge the gap between rehab and return to recreational activities after fitness injuries, during pregnancy, or postpartum.
Orthopedic and Pelvic Rehab aims to empower by helping improve movement quality, self-sufficiency, and encouraging mindfulness within your body through physical therapy.
Physical therapy services are deigned to assess and treat the underlying cause of the pain or dysfunction within the body. Your therapist will use manual therapy including: soft tissue massage, trigger point release, cupping, and myofascial stretches to achieve appropriate movement and motor control. Once muscle activation and mobility are optimized, Sessions will focus on strength training into functional movements.
All sessions are located at the Ashburn location.
Pilates trains movement within a controlled range of motion to maximize mobility and stability from head to toe within the body. Sessions will focus on achieving strong deep core activation and appropriate breathing patterns to achieve optimal pressure management and safety throughout each session. Equipment at the studio includes: reformer, cadillac, F2 chair, wunda chair, ladder barrel, and spine corrector.
All sessions are located at the Herndon location.
